I had a different problem.
My sister’s frnds used to call home.
When i lift the phone and say “hello” …. they reply “Hi uncle can i speak swarupa ?”

i was just some 13 yrs old then !

i enjoyed having a thin voice…ven ppl used to call at my home for me, i used to pretend as my aunt or mom and used to change my voice midway….they used to get psyched :P
But your “dude” problem was simply outrageous…never heard anything like it :)
